Welcome to the official website of Minnesota Hungarians.

This platform is dedicated to offering insights into our range of activities and programs.

I am honored to address you as the newly appointed President of The Minnesota Hungarians, a Nonprofit Organization. It is with gratitude and enthusiasm that I step into this role, and I am excited about the journey ahead.

​

Our organization is committed to making a positive impact in our community. With a rich history spanning over 130 years, Minnesota Hungarians has been actively involved in cultural, educational, and philanthropic initiatives as a non-profit charitable association. Our roots, traditions, language, and values that make our Hungarian community unique.

​

At the core of our mission is the representation and promotion of Hungarian culture and heritage in Minnesota and across the United States. We endeavor to orchestrate a wide spectrum of cultural, educational, artistic, and recreational events. Additionally, we are passionate about facilitating trade and cultural exchanges between Hungary and the US, while also engaging in fundraising efforts to sustain our endeavors.

Through the generous donations of members and friends we are able to provide assistance to various worthy projects, such as: Sludge Disaster Fund, Hungary (2010), Haiti Relief Fund (2010), Hungarian Flood Relief
Fund (2010), The Tooth Fairy Project (2010), International Documentary Association-“Torn from the Flag” (2006, 2008), St. Francis Foundation - Orphanage in Deva, Transylvania (continuous support), Asian Tsunami 
Fund (2005) and more.
