In memoriam: Geza Bodor

In memoriam - Géza András Bodor (1941 – 2010)

Géza Bodor passed away on May 26, 2010 after a long and courageous battle with very serious illness.

He was born in Szatmár, Hungary. Géza came to the USA in 1975. As a mechanical engineer he established his own business the Metals Marketing, Inc. in Minnesota. Geza belonged to a group of Hungarian university teachers playing Hungarian card game called “Ulti-party” which friendly group has existed since the 1960s. He loved to play tennis and was a very good tennis player.

Geza was a member of the Minnesota Hungarians with his wife Marika and daughter Katherine. Géza was a proud Hungarian –American, hard worker, good friend, and devoted father. When Kati was younger the Bodor family was more active in the MH’s life. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
